Here are 10 simple things that you can do today to give yourself that spring feeling!

  1. Get outside:
    Go for a walk, go for a run, do whatever suits you. Just get outside for at least a few minutes everyday!
  2. Purge the paper:
    It happens to all of us. Throughout the course of a day, even in this age of eco awareness, an inordinate amount of paper is thrust into our hands (receipts, print outs, statements, flyers…). If you don’t stay on top of it, in no time the stacks pile up, cluttering your desk and your counter tops. Try to get in the habit of tossing all unneeded paper into the recycling bin as a part of your daily routine. Better yet, try dodging it in the first place by declining all unnecessary sheets. Do a sweep at the end of the day for any missed papers and leave your desk and counter tops clear.
  3. Create a playlist for spring.

  4. Drink Infused Water:
    We all know we should be getting our 8 glasses in every day, but it’s just so hard when it tastes like….nothing. Try to up your intake by making yourself a flavourful, but healthy water-based drink. Keep it simple by tossing in some lemon slices, or amp it up with one of these combos.
  5. Get a manicure:
    Ditch the dark tones and opt for a lilac-y pink or a shimmery coral.
  6. Work on your posture:
    After months of huddling and hunching up against the cold, we all need to straighten out. Stretch it out, stand up tall and  get those shoulders back!
  7. Unsubscribe from 5 email mailing lists.

  8. Clean out your purse:
    Get rid of the balled up tissues, errant M & M’s and crumpled receipts. You don’t need to be lugging around 6 lipglosses, 4 pens and a set of dead AA batteries. Wondering where all your hair ties went?  They’re at the bottom of your purse. Lighten your load and give your tote a spring clean.
  9. Donate 5 items of clothing.

  10. Rearrange the furniture:
    Pick a room and move the furniture around to enliven your space. Fluff up the pillows and don’t forget to add some fresh flowers.
